Professional teak cleaning, sanding, and protection to bring your deck back to life.
We restore weathered, sun-damaged teak with careful cleaning, controlled sanding, and marine-grade protectants. No shortcuts, no harsh chemicals, and no mess left behind: just clean, healthy, natural-looking teak.
Teak restoration is a precise process, not just cleaning. Florida’s sun, humidity, and saltwater pull color and oils out of teak quickly, leaving it gray, dry, and uneven. Our restoration process begins with a controlled cleaning stage that removes oxidation, mildew, and salt buildup without damaging the wood’s soft grain.
We then use dustless sanding equipment to level the surface, eliminate weathered fibers, and restore the natural look of the teak. Every cleat, hatch, and fitting is taped off to protect surrounding gelcoat and hardware. Once the teak is clean and uniform, we apply professional-grade marine protectants to help resist UV, saltwater, and daily wear.
HM’s technicians are trained, careful, and experienced. We work cleanly, avoid the common mistakes that destroy teak over time, and leave your deck looking revived, not bleached or over-sanded.
Professional installation of Yacht Armor protective films. We apply the product with precision, proper surface prep, and clean edge-work to protect your boat’s consoles, touchscreens, outboards, and interior surfaces from scratches, UV, salt, and everyday wear.
Professional marine ceramic coating that cuts down maintenance, improves gloss, and protects your boat from UV, salt, oxidation, and staining. Applied by trained technicians using proper prep and controlled techniques.
Mobile boat cleaning performed directly at your slip. We wash, rinse, and touch up exterior surfaces using marine-safe products that protect gelcoat, coatings, metals, and vinyl while keeping salt, grime, and buildup under control.
“HM Car and Boat Detailing LLC is hands down one of the best detailing companies I've worked with. They wash the yacht I captain every week and handle monthly details as well as teak work, including sanding, finishing, and ceiling, all done to perfection. Their team is always on time, their pricing is fair, and they consistently go above and beyond. Even when I've needed them last minute, they've shown up with a great attitude and delivered excellent results. You can tell they take pride in their work. Highly recommend them to anyone looking for reliable, professional, and high-quality detailing services for their boat or yacht.”See review →
